Nerva, 96-98. Struck 97.
The legend "CONCORDIA EXERCITVM" and type refer to "he concurence and union of forces, both on land and on sea, during the reign of this good prince."  [Stevenson, page 243].
Modern authors think that his insecurity with respect to the army and navy, since he was not a military man, required him to placate them, both with appealing coin types and with his adoption of Trajan, the leading general.
