28 color plates of enlargements of 184 of most exceptional coins, with many images over 3 inches in diameter.  Every one of the coins is fully described in English, and many have extended scholarly discussions of the numismatic, social and historical background of the individual coins.  Many coins are unique, finest known, or one of only two known.  There is an EF Denarius of Julius Caesar "possibly the finest known specimen" estimated at $22,000; an EF Sestertius of Drusus "among the finest known" at $30,000; an EF Quinarius of Aelius "only two specimens known" at $48,000; an EF Aureus of Caracalla at $56,000; a unique 2 Aureus Medallion of Maximinus at $150,000; and a 2 Solidi Medallion of Valens "Finest Specimen Known" at $280,000. Its sections are stitched together, not just glued! It has a heavy card stock cover, and the pages are printed on quality paper.
