Geta as Caesar, struck 198-204 AD.
19-18 mm. 3.44 grams. Denarius
P SEPT GETA CAES PONT

NOBILITAS, Nobilitas standing front, head right, holding vertical scepter and palladium.
A legend, probably marking his elevation to Caesar. This legend was not used for other princes, although the title was common for Caesars under the tetrarchy and later when many obverse legends have "NOB CAES" in them.
RIC 13a, BMC 223
Sear 7184 ("199")
The major sources do not conjecture why this legend was introducted for Geta and not reused later.
